E-commerce for all sizes

2 July 2012

It's difficult as a start-up to know just how large your online business is going to be and most of the available pre-packaged solutions don't give you much flexibility.

The advantage of a bespoke website as you get from Chirp is that we can start you off with a very simple website and let it grow with your business.

Here you can see some of our e-commerce websites ranging from spartan to much more feature rich:

1. Colleens Post Mastecomy Connection »

Colleen just wanted to be able to easily update her product range on the website without any kind of online ordering system. A customised version of our Photo Gallery module was sufficient for now, and it can be upgraded later to a shopping cart if needed.

2. HO-CL Oils »

HOCL-Oils have a products database with each product assigned to one or more categories. Products are displayed with a photo and descriptive text and detailed specifications can be downloaded in PDF format. There is no ordering system in place, but the design allows for one to be added at a later date with minimal changes.

3. Vermilion Cashmere »

Vermilion Cashmere have an online catalogue and simple checkout form aimed mainly at wholesalers. Each category and product has it's own page, with large photos and minimal text. Items can be added to the order list with a short comment.

4. Little M Boutique »

A slightly more advanced system with both categories and subcategories of products. Products are diplayed with a list of ordering options and links to related items. The website features a traditional shopping cart system with online payments using PayPal.

5. Sequins & Sand Resort Wear »

A much larger website with categories and subcategories as well as a blog, articles, polls, videos and other nice features. Payments can be made directly and securely from the checkout form.

Don't make the mistake of buying an e-commerce package that will only work for you in the short term, or not at all. We can build one that matches your requirements exactly, both now and in the future, and at a reasonable price.
