'Nourished Life' in the BRW

29 June 2015

Our client Irene from Nourished Life was recently featured in the Business Review Weekly. You can read an excerpt below, and follow the link for the full article:

Nourished Life founder Irene Falcone was driven to start the business by an "obsession" for non-toxic cosmetics.

We are in a "Mad Men age" of promotion for mainstream cosmetics which will one day be looked down on like old cigarette ads, says Revlon marketer turned founder of $2 million organic personal care etailer Nourished Life, Irene Falcone.

Only incorporated in October 2012, the rapid growth of Nourished Life is attributed by its founder partly to lucky timing, with IBISWorld reporting the organic cosmetics and toiletries industry has grown at a 17.4 per cent annual clip in Australia between 2010 and 2015.

However its social media and search engine optimisation strategy is also worth learning from. Falcone has amassed 30,000 Facebook followers and nearly 10,000 Instagram followers for Nourished Life, while a Google search for 'organic skin care' sees it topped only by Miranda Kerr's KORA Organics in the organic rankings.
