Recognise 'phishing' emails

A few of our clients have reported receiving 'phishing' emails in recent months.

These emails are generally sent to the target organisations 'treasurer' email address from the 'president' or other authority. Examining the email headers will usually show that they don't actually come from with the organisation.

The first message will be something innocuous requesting an email response. This is followed up by requests for a 'wire transfer' or similar.
