Case study:Online course proposals

4 March 2022

One of our long time clients wants to automate the approval process for member-proposed courses. The current process involves:

  • capture of course details
  • approval of course
  • room allocation
  • scheduling
  • advertising
  • enrolments

Our solution involves a series of online forms accessible to the relevant parties whereby information can be entered, updated, approved or denied, and forwarded to the next.

Access to the online interface is controlled by a role-based access system with each user seeing only the sections for which they are responsible. At each step a notification email is generated to alert the next team.

Chirp has a long history of helping organisations in transitioning from legacy paper, spreadsheet or email-based systems to new online systems by way of a custom-built easy to use website interface which can grow and evolve over time.
