Website security upgrades

We have been busy over the break implementing some security upgrades on our servers, affecting all hosted websites.

The upgrades mainly relate to functions around uploading files and generating PDF files (certificates, invoices and receipts) on demand.

There have also been a few (transient) cases of users being presented with a blank screen after logging in with Basic Auth authentication.

If you are affected, be patient and try re-loading the page after a minute or two. Once it starts working you should no longer have problems.

And if you are connecting via SFTP to update files, be aware that access to some PHP functions has been restricted, or set to trigger an alert which may result in your IP address being (temporarily) blocked.
