.AU direct domains are launching soon

auDA have recently announced that they are launching .AU Direct domain name registration.
In the initial period holders of existing .com.au, .org.au and other .au domains will be eligible to apply for the new shorter domain during a six month period starting 24 March.
As the owner of example.*.au you have the right to apply for example.au.
If you have an existing .au domain registered through Chirp/Dreamscape you can simply log in to your account to access pre-registration, or we can pre-register for you. For domains held elsewhere you will need to contact your domain registrar.
